This session is all about New Creation. This is where God has been leading all of history towards – it is what God had in mind from before the world began. Not a bodiless existence in heaven but an eternal life with the resurrected Christ on a new earth and in a new universe. This new creation now exists and will be fully realized at the coming of Christ! It is a mystery unveiled in Christ and revealed by the Holy Spirit. It is what the early Church understood. It changed the way they lived in the present.

Eight : MOVING TO A GOD-
CENTERED NARRATIVE OF THE BIBLE
Are we needing a ‘course correction’ in the trajectory of our understanding of the narrative of the Bible’s Story?
In this session I am suggesting we do! We have been on a trajectory that has, and will always, sadly, cause us to miss the mark of understanding the Bible’s true story.
Seven : THIS WORLD AND THE
REAL WORLD
We will look at a fourth ‘seed’ that God planted in Genesis chapters 1 and 2 that will blossom, not in this age but in the age to come, although preparations for this are being made in this age as is the case of all the ‘seeds’ planted in Genesis 1 and 2. And this ‘seed’ is the ‘seed’ of God’s true world, God’s real world and God’s eternal world.
Six : GOD'S GLORY AND HOW
THIS WORKS
In this session we want to look at another, but related ‘seed’ and that is the ‘seed’ or theme of GLORY! Glory can mean many things, but in particular it relates to the glorious completion and full realization of God’s creation project.
Five : REST, AND WHAT IT
REALLY MEANS
We begin to identify other significant ‘seeds’ that God planted in Genesis chapters 1 and 2, and that have become major themes of the Bible. The ‘seed’ or theme we want to look at, in this session, is REST!
Four : ADAM, PERFECT BUT
NOT COMPLETE
Man was created to represent God on earth. Man was God’s likeness and image. He was to extend God’s temple—the sacredness of his presence and creation beauty from Eden throughout the entire earth. But this never happened. Why not? And what went wrong?
This Session will attempt to answer this question.
Three : WHY MAN IS SO
IMPORTANT
We will look at the purpose of Man. Why was Man made in God’s likeness and image? And does, being created last in the order of creation, tell us something about our God ordained purpose? It may also be a surprise to many to be told that Man, although created perfect, was not created complete! Completion was always to be a journey.
Two : TO WHOM WAS THE
BIBLE WRITTEN AND FOR WHAT PURPOSE?
It might be startling for many to realize that Genesis, the book of beginnings, actually had an audience. Moses, the writer of the book of Genesis, wrote to a particular people for a particular purpose. It is important to realize—as Biblical scholars are now trying to impress upon us—that the Bible was written for us, but not written to us.
One : GOD'S END VISION
What did God have in mind from the beginning and what will God’s Story look like at the end when this age, when the story, as revealed in the Bible, will have been completed!
INTRODUCTION
The Story of the Bible is subtitled ‘A Vision Worth Living For.’ For God’s Story, when properly understood, will compel every person, made in his amazing likeness and image, to personally own this story, embrace it fully and desire to see God’s story become their story!
